This past May, Sandra's best friend Kristina (aka, Peen), was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Sandra and Peen met at UC Davis and were sorority sisters. They have been best friends for over 10 years. Peen is currently undergoing chemotherapy and is scheduled for a double mastecomy in December. This walk was in honor of Kristina and in celebration of her fighting this disease. GOOOOO TEAM PEEN!!
